Ebony Coleman partners with clients on their journey. As a Nationally Certified Family Nurse Practitioner, she works with all ages of patients while continuing to provide service to all patients through Functional Medicine with training throughout the Institute of Functional Medicine.
Ebony has a passion for helping others to heal at the root of ailments and stop the use of bandaid medications. She wants to decrease the present knowledge gap in our current health management system for health care professionals and patients. She desires to provide a space where all can be educated. It is her goal to improve patients understanding of how the body works so they can increase their wellness level through implentation of researched interventions.
Having practiced as a Family Nurse Practitioner and Registered nurse for the past 9 years in Oklahoma, Ebony brings her background knowledge and unique care to each patient. Ebony partners with patients throughout the discovery of their current health status. She serves patients of all ages to provide care in Digestive Issues, Mental Wellbeing, Inflammation and Skin conditions. Ebony Coleman understands the need to combine Functional and Western Medicine at the appropriate time that is dependent on current patient presentation. This care ranges in completing advanced bloodwork thorough a Nutritional assessment and the understanding that food is information that affects the expression of your genes.
She wants to look at her patient's health from all areas, find patterns and uncover the source of the problem based on the physiological function of the body. Currently all of her visits are VIRTUAL (via phone or HIPAA-protected video) and she analyzes care based on a through intake, history, and laboratory findings.
Growing up in California, Ebony has always known she wanted to be in the Health Care field. After her third decade, Ebony’s skin suffered after an emotional change, she was diagnosed with Perioral Dermatitis. After trying the Western Medicine approach and seeing a Dermatologist to no avail, she was ready to find something that worked. Her life was changed after being exposed to Functional Medicine and implementing interventions that healed her leaky Gut. Through Gut healing, her skin began to improve. Since, she was lead on a journey to understand what true healing and no longer wants to heal symptoms.

After obtaining her Master’s of Science in Nursing as a Nurse Practitioner at South University, Ebony continued to work with pediatric patients and began serving others in the community. For the past 4 years, she has been working as a Nurse Practitioner for chronic care patients. She understands she needs to help others heal from their unique root cause.
She lives in Oklahoma with her husband Ryan and their 3 girls. She is excited to continue to serve clients in Florida and Oklahoma.
